Dr. Stephanie D. Barnes is an executive coach and business strategist. Using her experience as a Harvard educated corporate attorney and executive, she primarily works with women to help them be the CEOs of their lives–to develop strategies to achieve the results they desire in their business, careers, and lives. She offers professional and personal leadership development, strategic planning, and organizational and performance excellence strategies. She helps people to elevate their influence, accelerate their revenue, and find their voice in the workplace and marketplace through training, coaching, and providing accountability support for goal execution.
Her mission is to equip women to be the CEOs of their lives – to use their education, experiences, and influence to create the lives they desire and deserve. As the CEO of C-Suite Women’s Network, she helps women (and a few good men) to be the CEOs of their lives so they can be better CEOs of their business! She can help you to to get the results your desire in your career, business, and lives.
Stephanie is a woman who sees the possibility in life and embraces the opportunity to excel. She makes a way out of no way. In 2009, when her company leadership identified that there were few women qualified for leadership positions, she created a 12-week leadership program. Five graduating classes went through this life-changing transformational class producing vice-presidents, directors, and managers. Several others received promotions and changed their excellence trajectory! Stephanie helped them to find the leader inside! Using this experience, Stephanie founded C-Suite Women’s Network.
Stephanie is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and Jack and Jill of America, Inc. Stephanie’s excellence in leadership has been recognized by many. In 2014, she was named by the Sun Herald and Journal of South Mississippi Business as one of South Mississippi’s Outstanding Community Leaders Class of 2013 and in 2009, as one of South Mississippi’s Top 10 Business Leaders Under 40, Class of 2008. In 2013, she was one of 50 Women chosen to receive the Medgar and Myrlie Evers Ambassadors Award from the Gulfport, MS NAACP for having displayed exceptional fortitude and dedication based on their life’s experience, dedication and commitment to justice and equality.
She attended Mississippi State University and graduated summa cum laude from Tougaloo College in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English. She received her law degree from Harvard Law School. She received her doctorate in Organizational Leadership from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
